By Graham Billingham We all laugh at everyones dating disaster in some way. We all pretend to be very saddened by the persons situation. But deep in our mind we are either snickering or thinking what if that happened to me? Thats why we just all laugh at those dating disasters because it helps compensate the pain. Here is a list of dating disasters or regrets that we could learn from. 1. Never date a married person. Dating a married person always guarantees disaster. This relationship will always be about deceit, lies and cheating. The unmarried party will also be led to expect something that could or might never happen; which is being in a serious relationship with the married person. It might also bother your conscience that you are destroying the life of the married couple. This relationship or dating period will never ever work out and be fun. It will always be filled with doubt. 2. Most people regret not settling down with their childhood sweetheart or 1st love at college. They always believe that there will be more fish out there so why settle down? There might be more fish out there but do they actually fit your taste and personality. Compared to that proven fish that you have already established with your childhood sweetheart or 1st college love. Some people who didnt marry their childhood sweetheart will only think that they have settled for 2nd best only. This will be unfair to the other party, because you will always be thinking about that 1st love. 3. People always regret not taking the offer of the date when the offer was there. People will always ask the what if question. Just imagine all the girls who turned down Bill Gates now. Bottom line give the person a chance, it wont hurt to have a sip of coffee for only 30 minutes. You might even find out you might click. 4. People also regret not ending a really bad relationship earlier. There might have been a time during the bad relationship that there was someone better who wouldve wanted to be with you. But because you were in that bad relationship you passed out on that other wonderful person. So if you think youre just not in the right situation have the courage to end it. These are the things that most people have regretted during their dating period. In fact some of their regrets ended up in disastrous what ifs? Be wise, have the balance of following your head and heart at the same time. Only you will know what is right for you. By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=James_Taylor]James Taylor I had faced so many problems in the past as I was not able to avail any loan because of my tenancy. Tenancy was always an obstruction for me to get the benefits of any loan. We all know that tenants also have the right to avail the loan. We are all equal in all respect, but when we talk about any loans, tenants dont have that authorization to apply for any loan as most of them are designed for homeowners. With the change in society tenant loans come into action and a number of tenants are making benefits through a tenant loan. But still I have seen a few problems with tenants when they search for any loan. This can be due to their inability to put anything as collateral against the loan. Everyone knows the problems that a tenant has to face while searching for a loan. It is generally seen that lenders hesitate to lend money to a tenant. It is because of the fact that tenants dont have anything to put as collateral against the repayment of the loan amount. This can easily drop the moral of any tenant. In such a scenario, cheap tenant loans act as a key for tenants to avail loans to settle their financial upheavals. Cheap Tenant Loans are the loans that can be availed without putting any collateral. Collateral is a kind of security against the repayment of the loan amount. As tenant loans dont require any collateral, this means that these loans can be availed by anyone who is a tenant or staying with their parents but dont own a home. Cheap tenant loan is a form of unsecured loan that serves as a medium with which you can easily accomplish your requirements and needs. There is no need to spin around streets in order to locate a loan for tenant. These loans can be easily availed just by a single click of your computer mouse. All you have to do is to enter the relevant keywords and you will get a list of lenders who can lend you money at affordable terms. It is for sure that these cheap tenant loans are easy to avail. But they are comprised of higher interest rates as compared to any secured loan. This difference is due to the lack of collateral in tenant loans. Also, this loan can be availed if you dont have a perfect credit score. It is advised that you gather complete knowledge before you go ahead for any tenant loan. Tenant loans can easily wipe away your debts and make you feel relaxed. James Taylor holds a Masters degree in Commerce from JNU. He is working as financial consultant. By Mike Bradley Once you start to receive the knowledge and wisdom of God flowing into your life - you will find something very interesting that will start to happen. You’ll start to see the difference between the knowledge and wisdom of God versus the knowledge and wisdom of this world. You’ll see that God is always right and that man is always wrong when the two are on opposites sides of the fence. A perfect example is the abortion issue - where you have the people who are pro-choice and their arguments versus the people who are pro-life with their arguments. From God’s point of view - it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see who is on the wrong side of the fence on this issue. As you will see in the two verses I will list below - the Bible tells us that the wisdom of this world is “foolishness with God.” Since God is all-perfect in His being and in His knowledge - that obviously means that God is always right and man and the world is always wrong when they are not on the same page. So the first thing you will need to get worked into you is that God, all of His ways and all of His knowledge is always right. You will really need to ground on this because the wisdom of the world can be very enticing at times. You will be tempted into believing what the world has to say instead of believing what God is trying to tell you is right. Our young teenagers are constantly battling this reality. They are constantly being tempted and enticed to get into drugs, heavy drinking and pre-marital sex. If they have not been grounded in the Word and in their faith from a good Christian upbringing by their parents - they can be easily swayed to enter into some of this dark side activity. You will start to see the difference between God’s knowledge and how He likes to operate versus the business world in general. Many in corporate America are constantly pushing the envelope trying to get as far as they, get as much as they can and not caring who they run over and hurt in the process. The almighty dollar is their god and they will do anything and everything to make more of it. Many Christians get sucked up into some of these unscrupulous practices and thus end up going against God Himself by some of the shady things they end up doing. Each Christian has to stay true to His God and His ways when they are faced with these kind of temptations. Study these next two verses very carefully as they really do set the stage as to what is going on in the spiritual realm when you compare the knowledge of God versus the knowledge of this world.Let no one deceive you. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. FOR THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS FOOLISHNESS WITH GOD. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness,” and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” Therefore let no one glory in men.” (1 Corinthians 3:18) “But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing will be there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.” (James 3:14)The second verse perfectly describes what goes on in the dog eat dog business world. Many are self-seeking, jealous and envious of one another - with everyone trying to run over everyone else to move higher up on the food chain. Notice that God calls this kind of wisdom earthy, sensual and demonic - and that it is not from Him. That is why God says in the first verse that the wisdom of this world is foolishness in His eyes. In others words - it is a joke! All of these people who are choosing to live their lives in this kind of dog eat dog environment are heading down the wrong road. Once God starts to really work with you and starts transmitting His knowledge to you on a lot different areas of your life - you will really be able to start to see the truth on a lot of different things - not only in your own personal life, but also with the world in general. Once that knowledge has been released to you and you have full understanding of it - God will expect you to believe in it and act on it when you are faced with the temptation to go with the wisdom of the world rather than with the wisdom of God. Always remember who you serve. You serve and follow God and His ways for your life - not the ways and wisdom of this world. Article written by Michael Bradley of Bible Knowledge Ministries. By Gene Hall Since family information has become so available on the Internet, many people dont realize the vital role still played by local genealogical societies. While all of the press and excitement has been focused online, these organizations have quietly gone about their business of preserving history and making it available to the world. Societies come in many different flavors but mainly are . . . Geographically based like Chrystal Lake Historical Society located at http://www.cl-hs.org/ Surname focused like the Musick Family Association located at http://www.musick.com/ Event focused like the Bolzano ‘World War I Historical Society’ located at http://www.provinz.bz.it/museenfuehrer/english/detail.asp?ORGA_ID=822 Ethnicity focused like the Australian Jewish Genealogy Society at http://www.cl-hs.org/ They almost all have one thing in common they are managed and run almost exclusively by volunteers. These organizations are experts at making do with the resources at hand, leveraging facilities, information, and personnel into viable organizations that preserve our heritage for future generations. Generally these societies are organized as non-profit corporations and those without such legal designation are still just trying to break even. No matter where you live, there is likely such an organization near you. Continued support from current and future members and friends will keep them viable. Here are a few good reasons why you should join these people and make a difference. Meet People: A local organization is a great place to meet people who truly care about history and families; people who can teach you wonderful lessons about research, history, and life. We have all used the services of a society that houses the archives and genealogical library for a local town or county. Just think back on that experience helpful people providing accurate and timely information for the cost of copies, shipping, or a small donation. You can work directly with these people, learn from them, and help each other as you search for your family. Its fun: Do you remember the first time you stared at the record in front of you before breaking into whoops of joy at finding your long-lost ancestor? Do you remember the days of excitement while you told your family about the discovery? We only get a few of those moments usually scattered over the years of searching. You can gather a few more of these moments vicariously through your local genealogy society. When you find an ancestor for someone else, it is almost as much fun as finding your own. Society offices, museums, and libraries are filled with excitement and stories of these wonderful moments shared together. One good deed deserves another: I joined the Greene County Genealogy Society in Tennessee several years ago when they helped me climb over one of the brick walls that occasionally block our research path. Their diligence and knowledge of the local archives produced the Last Will and Testament of my ancestor, James H. Hall, Sr. and named his entire family and a flood of new information for me. The cost: $3.00 for copies and mailing. Woo Hoo! by far the biggest bargain I have ever received. I sent a check for a lifetime membership in lieu of the $3.00 charge. I dont even live near Greene County, but the membership has continued to produce information about my family there including a diary that mentions James and other members of the family along with details about their lives. You might choose to join a local society where you can participate on a daily or weekly basis. Donate your talents: Dont have money available to join? Donate your time and talent. Societies are always looking for people with all kinds of talents or people with time to do all kinds of tasks. Can you organize, answer phones, research data? Are you interested in transcribing documents, indexing, raising money, promoting the group? Whatever your talents and interests, the local society can use them and you will reap the rewards of helping other people sometimes people you have never met. Donate money: Dont have time to join and play an active part? Societies can always use donations to improve their displays, repair the plumbing, or pay the light bills. Money is always appreciated in a non-profit organization. You never know what the need are until you ask. My suggestion is that you allow the local group to decide how to best spend your donation; dont attach any strings to the donation. Those who are active on committees and boards are in the best position to spend the money in the best possible way. You can make a difference dont delay. Join a society today! Gene Hall is a genealogist with almost 30 years of experience and the CEO of FamilyTrackers, Inc., a world-wide genealogy exchange dedicated to serving the needs of genealogists, genealogical societies, professional genealogists, and transcribers all over the world. All that I ask is that you reprint it in its entirety without any changes including this text and the link above. By Alan Summers The most winter hardy Crape Myrtle of all. Crape Myrtles (Lagerstroemia) are known to be the longest blooming deciduous trees in existence, creating extended periods of striking summer color. This, combined with their alluring fall foliage and drought resistance, has made Crape Myrtles a favorite in both formal and informal landscapes throughout the south. Crape Myrtles are native to Asia and were introduced to England and the U.S. during the 18th century. Since that time, extensive breeding of Crape Myrtles has resulted in a wide assortment of varieties from ground covers only two feet tall, to shrubs of all heights, to trees almost forty feet tall. The dwarf varieties of Crape Myrtles are allowing gardeners with smaller yards to enjoy these beautiful plants. Winter hardiness and summer mildew resistance have also been improved, allowing gardeners farther north to enjoy Crape Myrtles’ fabulous summer display. Finally the exfoliating bark has been much improved. This week we are featuring ‘Hopi’ - in our experience the hardiest of all the Crape Myrtles. ‘Hopi,’ is one of several Crape Myrtles developed by the National Arboretum in Washington D.C. - all have been given Native American Indian tribe names. ‘Hopi’ brings color, texture and interest to the garden in several ways. From mid-summer into the fall, ‘Hopi’ will bloom with beautiful, medium pink flowers that have the crepe-paper look that Crape Myrtles are known for. The blooms will reach six to seven inches long, beginning relatively early in the season and go on for about 100 days. ‘Hopi’ has mildew-resistant dark green foliage that will turn to a reddish orange in the fall. It also has grayish-brown bark that will exfoliate with age and looks striking in the winter garden. Planting and Care ‘Hopi’ is a compact cultivar, reaching just seven to ten feet tall and six feet wide. It can be grown as a small tree or a large shrub. ‘Hopi’ can be pruned easily to fit into smaller spaces, if needed. Grow several together to form a hedge, just one as a specimen, or in a container on a patio or porch. Prefers full sun in an area with good air circulation and good soil drainage. Disease and mildew resistant. Water regularly until established. Hardy in Zones 6-9 (protect the first winter in Zone 6). Fertilize with Plant-Tone and Kelp Meal in early spring. When necessary, prune in spring just as the new leaves emerge. To view Crape Myrtle ‘Hopi’ visit the Carroll Gardens website. Alan Summers, president of Carroll Gardens, Inc., has over 30 years experience in gardening and landscape design. By Sharon G.Price A detox diet is a diet where the individual makes a complete change in their consumption habits so that the body gets detoxified by removing toxins and contaminants. With a detox diet, it is possible to improve health, energy, digestion, mental state, your resistance to disease and even experience weight loss. The modifications that you have to make in detox diet includes fasting with juice fasting and water fasting, increasing the consumption of fish like salmon, restriction in calorie intake and using a herbal detox or master cleanse called the lemonade diet. Most important, a detox diet calls for more of fruits and vegetables in ones food intake, limitations in processed food and the elimination of alcohol and smoking. The main reason people go on a detox diet is because a human body ingests lots of water, food and air in a day. It is very possible that fat soluble chemicals existing in them get deposited in the cells of the body. With a poor diet, the human body cannot detoxify these chemicals and this leads to a further build up of toxic waste in the body which in turn leads to illnesses, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies and a weak metabolism. Once you go on a detox diet, you tend to experience improved energy, have regular bowel movements, find an increase in concentration and clarity in life, improvement in your digestion and clearer skin. However before you go on a detox diet, it is better that you consult with your doctor to see if the detox diet is appropriate for you. Nursing women, children and pregnant women should never go on a detox diet. People with anemia, kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, cancer, low blood pressure and with additions to drugs and alcohol should not go on a detox diet unless advised by the doctor. Like all good things in life, a detox diet too has its side effects of which the most common one is a headache that starts within a few days of the start of the detox diet. This is often due to the sudden quitting of caffeine. This is why practitioners often suggest a gradual stopping of caffeine instead of a sudden stop. In fact, some people take time off for a detox diet or start it on Friday night to last the weekend. Some people go through a bout of diarrhea because of dehydration and a loss of electrolyte while there are some people who increase their fiber intake, but dont drink sufficient water. This in turn leads to constipation. Prolonged use of a detox diet can lead to a deficiency of nutrients, especially proteins and calcium as some detox diets omit animal products. Other side effects of the detox diet include acne, weight loss, hunger, irritability and tiredness. If you find any worsening of these symptoms when on a detox diet, it is advised to visit a qualified health professional immediately. You never know if these symptoms had arisen because of the detox diet or because of some other underlying cause as the symptoms of some diseases like cancer similar to the side effects of a detox diet. http://www.letsdetox.com is an informative site relating to detoxing, detox kits, detox, weight loss and cleansing products. http://www.letsdetox.com also has information on how to lose weight using a detox program. By Louise Forrest Women from all over the globe love the way their skin feels after a visit to the spa. These organic skin care recipes are all used for specialties treatments at some of the world’s top natural care spas. Remember to always purchase organic ingredients for our skin care recipes. Non-organic ingredients contain chemical fertilizers and pesticides which you do not want absorbed into your body through the skin. Organic Body Butter #1 Aside from the skin care recipe ingredients, you will need a blanket and towels for application, a small pillow can be nice, and a food processor is very handy for making the butter. Hand-held mixers cannot handle the density of this skin care formula, but you can use a potato masher or your hands (it just will not be as smooth ad with a food processor). You will need: 1 organic avocado, scoop ripe flesh into a bowl 1 organic banana 1 stick organic sweet butter, softened 1/3 teaspoon lavender essential oil (usually found in health food stores or on the internet) 1/4 cup organic whipping cream Thoroughly steam bathroom with you in it (this gets your skin ready and opens pores). While bathroom is steaming, you can lay the blanket (old) on the floor and lay the towels over it. If you chose to use a small pillow, place it at one end and cover with a towel. Once you begin to perspire, you can turn water off and begin massaging the organic body butter all over the body, including the face (stay away from eyes and open wounds). Pat special attention to dry areas like feet, hands, knees, and elbows. Lie on towels and wrap blanket around you. Take a 15 to 20 minute nap this way, allowing the organic body butter to infuse your skin with essential moisture. Rinse in a warm shower using (preferably) an organic soap and soft cloth to lightly cleanse the butter. Organic Body Butter #2 You probably already have most, if not all, of the ingredients for this decadent organic body butter. Try mixing a double batch of this skin treatment and make a romantic interlude for you and your significant other! Mix the following ingredients: 1 teaspoon organic coconut oil 2 teaspoons organic clover honey 3 tablespoons organic peanut butter (crunchy) 1 1/2 tablespoons organic brown sugar 2 tablespoon distilled water Use in the bathtub, because this can get messy! Massage the organic body butter over your body, starting at the furthest points and working your way to the center of your body. After thoroughly massaging, cleanse the butter away with a mild organic cleanser. Apply an organic milk lotion or organic moisturizing cream to complete your treatment. Extra Special Treatment for Hands and Feet For this treatment, you will need 6 bars of paraffin wax, 4 old towels, and 2 tablespoons organic olive oil (1 tablespoon for hands and 1 tablespoon for feet). Melt the paraffin in a large, deep microwave safe container that is long enough to set your foot in. You want the wax to be melted and warm, but not hot. Take one tablespoon of organic olive oil and massage into freshly cleaned feet. Dip oil covered feet into the paraffin wax one foot at a time and dipping three times to create three layers of wax (allowing the wax to dry on the foot between dips). Wrap the feet (with the wax still on them) in old towels. Repeat treatment on hands. Once you have your hands wrapped, prop your feet up and rest for 20 minutes then peel wax off and massage again. Extra Quick Exfoliation Amazingly, this is an extremely inexpensive exfoliation treatment used by many spas. They may add essential oils for scent or other effects, but the treatment is quite basic. Simply take handfuls of Epsom Salt and rub over the body while in the shower or bath. The exfoliating properties on Epsom Salt are top-notch. To create a more relaxing effect, mix 2 cups Epsom Salt with 6 drops organic lavender essential oils then massage over body as directed above. By Tess Thompson Anxiety Disorder can be a debilitating and all-consuming condition for many of those who suffer from it. Whether you are affected by Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder or one of the many other forms of the disorder, you may have investigated the option of using prescription medication as part of your treatment. With over 19 million people in the U.S. alone reporting suffering from some type of it, anxiety disorder is the most common of all mental health disorders. Fortunately, anxiety disorder is highly treatable, and with professional help, it can often be completely overcome. Many times, successful treatment depends only upon individual or group therapy and learned relaxation techniques. In some cases, however, anti-anxiety prescription medication is also recommended. The most commonly prescribed anxiety medications are benzodiazepines, such as Xanax, because they tend to have fewer side effects than anti-depressant medications. But benzodiazepines also carry a risk of alarming side effects and can be highly addictive, spurring many people to seek safer, more natural alternatives. There are many natural herbs for anxiety which have been proven to effectively ease many of the symptoms of anxiety with a very low risk of side effects. Just as with prescription medications, everyone reacts differently to natural medications, and it can take time to find the right combination and dosage for your body. There are many combination remedies on the market that include a mixture of effective ingredients, and that may provide you with long-lasting anxiety relief. Passion flower, an ingredient that is often used in natural medicine, alleviates hyperactivity, anxiety, insomnia, nervous tension — and is even sometimes used to treat Parkinson’s Disease. Passion flower soothes and calms and can lower high blood pressure. Lemon balm is a general restorative for the nervous system, can reduce blood pressure and also calm the digestive system. Lavender is an excellent anxiety treatment and one of the best natural panic attack treatments. Lavender is a general tonic for the nervous system and a natural relaxant. Valerian is a popular natural ingredient that can be used as a sedative and a painkiller. It is often effectively employed as a treatment for anxiety and for insomnia, as well. You may find that with psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation exercises or support groups, or some combination of all of them, you do not need any medication. But if you do decide to explore the option of medication, natural treatments for anxiety can provide you with safe, effective results, without the risk of side effects that prescription medications pose.
